This just in:

Subaru sets new distance record on single tank of Gas… Yup that’s right, Old Faithful just ran 735km on 13 gallons of ‘bronze grade’ gasoline!! It included 2 trips to the post office, and the rest was Hwy cruising. The previous mark was 727, and was with the Platinum stuff from the Multi Laser days. I’ve done some aftermarket stuff since then to lighten it up (rust holes, and the MudFlaps fell off one winter), reduced rolling resistance, by loosing the hub caps on the passenger side of the car (big pot-hole in Houston) and earlier in the summer I removed the car racks, as I only use them once a year anyhow.

Last Saturday I headed up to Maine for the (MXC) or Maine Summer Sports Challenge. (more…)

1. The Arch Biker is eliminated from the Competition on the grounds that as a ‘gay innkeepers’ we already share the same loft to sleep in, I hang out at his work often, and we already eat the same (his) food. (more…)
