Drive by NUMBERS & Trivia
Drive by Numbers:
Firstly, I have to thank the Archbiker. Because without his ability to use 2 arms I would never have been able to pack my entire life into my Subie-roo.
Secondly I have to give Mike D. special props for being my inspiration for this drive. Not only did he drive the continent one armed with a stick shift, but he did it using only his Left hand (great for shifting during left hand turns). Good on Ya Mike.

-Finding a place to live.
Best ad for an room mate: 2 last minute gals looking for mature student to share funky, upstairs suite. Large kitchen/livingroom. Bright space with big windows and a great view.. Any open minded, individual welcome.
-I would have to consider myself ‘open minded’, though this could also mean pot-head
-Trish downstairs says she knows someone looking for a roomie but ‘he’s a French Canadian Downhill mountain biker’…
-Classes start: Monday am.
-I have a Dr’s Appointment Tuesday to see how my collarbone is doing, if I will need surgery, etc.
-For those Americans who think they live in the greatest country on earth, here’s how health care works in Canada.
-This will be the 4th Dr. that I will have seen about my clavicle. One MD, and one fracture specialist in Windsor where I walked into the hospital and had X-ray’s taken For Free within hours of my accident.
1. in Bracebridge after 4 days for a second opinion.
And now that I’m in BC I have an appointment to see my ‘Family’ Dr, and will have more x-rays and talk about lingering RAAM symptoms. Also for FREE.
Lastly I have to apologize to disappointed readers about the spelling and grammar in my previous post. My mother was down and insisted on ‘proof reading’ so the article has lost a lot of its usual colour due to her.
In unrelated news, this is the first time that my bed’s was made in the past 2 years (coincidence?).
Trivia
1. Following my latest trip, there are only 4 states the lower 48 that I haven’t driven the subie, or ridden my bicycle in. I don’t know if anyone other than me knows the answer, so Mom, Archbiker etc. you’re all allowed to enter.
2. Of Canada’s 10 Provinces, which have I:
A)Ridden my bike in?
b)Raced in?
