That’s right. NBC will be giving a 2h broadcast of Race Across America this weekend. 2pm, but I’m not sure what time zone that’s for, so check your local listings.

Given that out team (Action Sports, with the Arch Biker, Billy Innes, and Dr. Evil) won the event, set a new course record, and won the largest prize amount ever, they’ll probably give us a little air time. It’s funny how those reality type shows always give lots of play to the loud people saying stupid things so I’d imagine I’ll get a little face time. Ha. Yeah, keep in mind that I was crazy for 2 months after the race.

While I’m talking about RAAM, I know that I’ve ripped Dr. Evil a few times in this blog for the division of prize money, and was grumpy at him for a while. But here’s the skinny. Before the race I was a broke-ass cyclist, having a great time riding his bike in cool places and hanging out with cool people collecting interesting experiences. I’m still that person. I really think that holding grudges is a stilly thing, so for the sake of my mom, or who ever reads this BLOG.

Dr. Evil, sorry that I was all pouty for the past 5 months. My BAD Can I still ride bikes with you?

Otherwise I rode 40 km today with a Subaru Starter motor in my jersey. Not really comfortable, but it was all worth it after 45 min of wrenching this afternoon, the car has started 7 times in a row. WHOOOOO HOOOOOOOO. The Subie rocks- Out.
