Hi there, welcome to the BLOG of my life as a Vagabiker. Beryl calls me a 'Free Spirit' my Grandpa a B.U.M. of no fixed address. Kelly says I'm 'off the wall'. I think that the Toad is closest saying I'm the Cat in the Hat it's fun to have fun—but you have to know how.

These are the stories of my unique, home-and-job-free Natness.

Naturally, quasi-legal events are fictional. Everything else is the unvarnished truth.

Yeah Whatever - Vader

Friday, April 22nd, 2005

Darth Vader wonders how to drink his liquid chlorophyll supplement. Knowing that he will die if he takes his mask off he decides to leave the chlorophyll for the Emperor, it tastes nasty anyhow.

Darth Vader really appreciates the protection which his mask affords him while cutting onions for his breakfast omelet. With the Light saber fritzing again, he’s forced to use a knife. (more…)

Hi.

Sorry to everyone on the west side whom I didn’t have time to visit.. Matty, J, Laura, B, Murray, Sommers… It’ll happen again, no worries, take care.

46h driving in 59h18 elapsed time.
7:20 pm (EST) start time from Bakersfield
I stopped every 600 km for gas, only missing AZ, Ohio, and MASS, and never stopped more than once in a state (other than pee brakes) (more…)

Well it’s 2 am and I’ve got the Subie all packed for the Drive back East. It took 1h45 and probably would have been much faster if I’d done it at 4 pm in full sunlight like I’d Planned to, but some things you just can’t change. I’m pretty stoked for a couple of reasons. 1) I’m only 4 days ‘late’ leaving.
2) all my stuff fit in the subie. Every now and then it doesn’ fit, and nothing freaks me out more than not being able to fit everything in the Subie. I was so nervous about this that I actually removed 99% of the crap, er, my stuff, from the old girl (100% involves vacuuming), and folded (rolled) my clothes. The net result is that I could fit another complete bike, wheelset and still be able to see out the back window.

I’m going to be heading into Radio silence for a bit. I don’t know how long, because I’m sending my HP back to HP again (the first two times they didn’t fix it.. But this time they think they can… Who knows) I’m backing things up this time.

Plus It’s a 3 day drive if I don’t stop by Hebi’s place in Durango, Denver, somewhere in Colorado that Flagstaff is on the way to. His mom sent me the address and MapQuest did the rest.

I was bored and rested last week, which is rare, and led to my snagging the cover of The underground. I guess I can retire from the internet now as I’ve been featured on Cycling News, Canadian Cyclist, DC, and the Underground (all the sites I ever look at) plus Cameltoe, and Velonews, which I don’t really care about.

Of course I have come things on e-bay but since I was supposed to be back east by now, and they were targeted to end as I arrived in Lenoxdale, birth town of B-Ret.

OK now it’s 3:30 am and I just got an e-mail from hackler, which means he’s awake and getting ready for work in Mass. Sleep I must.

This Animal, Who is this?

The ArchBiker and I are fricken prestigious, and you know that it’s true because you read it on the InterWeb!

So I somehow find myself back in Santa Barbara again. Which is quite amazing considering my reactions to the place last time I was here. I am back to my day 1 conclusion. It’s warm (but cool enough by the ocean that I want to wear a vest over my jersey and undershirt). This place is paradise. There are SOOO many hot girls here my HEAD was about to EXPLODE. Riding around in their bikini’s like it’s warm out. OFF THE HOOK.

I have a new theory, Bracebridge Ontario the town I grew up in had a wintertime population of 15, 000 people, and a summer time one of nearly 10 times that. As a Local the town depended upon the ‘terrorists’ for its income to struggle through the winter, but man we hated them. I think my problem here is that everyone in SB has that smug tourist air about them. I’m torn because around 30% of the people here are really cool and friendly, it’s just that other mini dog loving portion….
