Still alive
Hey,
Lawn Mowin, Dog Walkin, Tree Fellin, Motorbike License Gettin, Interval Rockin, Basement Floodin, super giant helmet wearin.
I’m still alive. Livin’ in the glen, making sushi, watching fireworks, junior High talent show watchin’, Cannondale CAAAAAAAAD 8 Ridin’.
I rode my bike 11 times last week.
Hooked up some stuff on E-Bay
Just so that you know the world is going right again.
I’ll actually write some stories soon. That is if DK gives me a rest week.
So to pass the time, I’ll just post up some of my mothers recent e-mails….
Yo
Anyone wondering what you were on when you did the Darth Vader photo shoot obviously doesn’t know you. But then who does?
Love, Mom
Some readers (mmm among others) though that I was on drugs after the Vader post. I don’t do drugs, but some times I do get bored. I tried reading the Vader post, and couldn’t make sense of anything that I had written. But I think Mike was more disturbed by the pictures. My grammar just makes me look like an idiot.
A couple of months ago, when I unjustly made fun of my mother, here is my response, which I think she proof-read.
Dear Natty
You must be some desperate for a blog entry to print my e-mail!!! You know I e-mail from the library…The bit about my running out of time was not my time on earth , as you may have supposed, but my time on the computer. The darn thing kept blocking the screen with its “time’s up” messages. There was no time to edit. No wonder you got flack on that one. It’s like bragging that you beat me in a race! I hope you feel silly. Next time I’m running out of time, I won’t e-mail at all.
Taking my marbles and heading home, this is, as always,
Mom
Now I can clean out my inbox a little more.
Just wait until I post up the pictures of ‘super mom’ when I dressed her up on her birthday! (mom why did you let me even take pictures of you like that?!?!)
I have to say, that I DO have the coolest mom ever. I remember as a kid out training for races in Bracebridge, there weren’t many people to go out on rides with. The few guys who did ride, had family’s, so on more than one occasion after school I would drag my mom out so that I had someone to do intervals with. So there I was on the access road chasing my mom on 6×4km. Props mummy, you rock.
Until then, here are some pictures of what I was up to last week.
Seperated at Birth

Take care,
Nat
