Always good times. I managed to go out twice. Once to ‘adult’ parties dressed as the ‘guy who passes out first’. I don’t know about the parties that you go to but in B-Town the theme for girls it to dress as close to naked as possible – simply outstanding, and mind-boggling at the same time.
The second time was actually the 31st and I went as a pirate-bunny type of deal with the super-dog and kids. My mother did tell me that I was too old to be trick-or-treating this year, but some houses had a ‘everyone in costume gets candy’ policy, so I guess I went against my mothers wishes.
Speaking of my mother, I have been trying to get a reaction out of here for years. I remember when I was 16 the first day the snow melted from the roads in Bracebridge (Easter that year) I rode up to the next town north of us, which was around 65km away. I was excited that I’d found the roads to ride up there and called Mother. Her reaction is “I’m not coming up there to get you so you’d better start riding home…” But for the first time ever I’ve managed to get a reaction out of her. Check out this e-mail:

There I did it success at last. And if you were wondering, I shaved the puppies a second time and they didn’t itch or chafe half as bad.
Somehow I found time to attend a Rob Thomas Concert in Bakersfield, which was being recorded for a MTV special. It’s weird when someone gets that big how people start behaving funny. The scope, decibels, and effects of Rt’s deal where impressive, but the fact that all the females in the audience could neither stop ‘wanting to marry’ him or screaming, or uncontrollably dancing, or all 3 amazed me.
Anna Nalick was the opening act, and personally I liked her better, 4 people of cymbal kicking fun, though she looked much better from the balcony than her studio photos (ouch). She was fresh, funny, and made us feel like we were listening to her first ever concert.
