Hi there, welcome to the BLOG of my life as a Vagabiker. Beryl calls me a 'Free Spirit' my Grandpa a B.U.M. of no fixed address. Kelly says I'm 'off the wall'. I think that the Toad is closest saying I'm the Cat in the Hat it's fun to have fun—but you have to know how.

These are the stories of my unique, home-and-job-free Natness.

Naturally, quasi-legal events are fictional. Everything else is the unvarnished truth.

Costa Rica

Hey there sportsfans, welcome back

So I am south of Domical Costa Rica. I like this country, and there are only 6 days left to Panama. It’s nice here, a little more civilized, but more white tennis shoes is the catch.

It is hot and warm down here. Some nights I have to sleep outside skins just to be cool enough, of course I put on bugspray in lieu of a tent, but then it only lasts ‘3 hours’ so I usually have to put in ear plugs so that the mosquitoes’s whine doesn’t keep me awake.

Otherwise, I am not sure what I am going to be in for as far as reverse culture shock, but it will be a little different not having roosters wake me up at 4am, dogs catch me, when they come down the driveway. I am looking forward to Kelley’s Lasagna but you know what I mean.

Of course you cannot replace the open-ended adventure of traveling this way. If you could my ‘normal’ life would probably be the closest thing.
