Hi there, welcome to the BLOG of my life as a Vagabiker. Beryl calls me a 'Free Spirit' my Grandpa a B.U.M. of no fixed address. Kelly says I'm 'off the wall'. I think that the Toad is closest saying I'm the Cat in the Hat it's fun to have fun—but you have to know how.

These are the stories of my unique, home-and-job-free Natness.

Naturally, quasi-legal events are fictional. Everything else is the unvarnished truth.

Justin Marriage : the wedding of my taller younger brother to Kelly

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

justin's a mad bakerkj weddingSo there I was in Thunder Bay. 5 days before the wedding, all I had to do was not piss off the bride, loose/ injure my the groom, and wash out a row-boat. Oh yeah, I needed to write a speech and not screw things up.

so I e-bayed. went rowing. got into the moosehead. spent time in the biffy. entertained the vampire. and when i could, made out with the groom (ok the last part is a joke - seriously).
Kelly and Andrea did a very good job of planning things. Simply amazing. The skinners made me (always start with the best foot forward) welcome, and treated me as kin (which I guess I am now).

Very Bizzarre twist of Events: Nat Works

Nat Works.

This is an oxymoron in league with Civil Servant, but I actually rocked out a pretty big work schedule.

But I am now finishing up my 6th week of a 6 week work program. For those of you counting, this is the third longest actual work term of my life. Yes. Dog Walking

Well I’m starting to think that I’ve had my mother wrong all this time. Because as soon as she read my last post, my ‘inbox’ lit up.

Without further ado, hot off the press, live from Bracebridge, Unvarnished

Getting Paid to be hit by things. OLD and NEW TRIVIA

The Long Short is this, I was riding 14h in the last 3 days, getting used to defrosting in Cali. I’ve been hitting e-bay again too. Funny every so often I realize I’m broke, next thing you know there’s something getting tossed up for the vultures.

Speaking of Vultures, I’ve seen plenty of them, as well as 2 tarantulas, and a bobcat.

Merry Christmas EveryBody

Hey, I’ve started writing a few different ‘real articles’, so I’m sure that I’ll get them up soon. In the mean time if you didn’t get your card yet, it’s either because I mailed it late, or lost your address.

Phone, Bone, Turkey Day in Canada

Contest update
First off here are some hints for the trivia… I’ve only raced in 6 of Canada’s provinces. My brother was entered, and almost got question number 2 correct. I think family will have to mention a race I’ve done in each province. Otherwise I’ve gotten some close answers, but no winning ones just yet.

Also in the arena of scary things I’ve commited to something. It will actually matter what day of the week it is, on the odd occasion I loose track of the month. Now I have a place to be at 8:30 sharp M-F for the next 6 months. YIKES. (more…)

Drive by NUMBERS & Trivia

Drive by Numbers:

Firstly, I have to thank the Archbiker. Because without his ability to use 2 arms I would never have been able to pack my entire life into my Subie-roo.

Secondly I have to give Mike D. special props for being my inspiration for this drive. Not only did he drive the continent one armed with a stick shift, but he did it using only his Left hand (great for shifting during left hand turns). Good on Ya Mike. (more…)
